Pac-12 Player of Week: Faisal Aden

Washington State’s Faisal Aden won the Pac-12 Player of the Week award.
The senior guard came off the bench and averaged 28.5 points per game and shot 65.5 percent from the field in wins over Stanford and California.
Aden scored a career-high 33 points to lead WSU past the Cardinal 81-69 on Thursday. It’s the second most points a Pac-12 player has scored this season. He converted 59 percent from the field (10 of 17) and was perfect (13 for 13) on free throws. Aden also collected a season-best five rebounds.
Aden capped the homestand sweep of the Bay Area schools with a 24-point performance during a 77-75 victory over the Golden Bears. He was even better from the field (9 for 12) from the field and converted 6 of 7 at the line. It was his fourth 20-point game of the season and 10th in his career.
Aden is second on the team in scoring with a 15.1 points per game average and ninth in the Pac-12 in conference-only games. He’s also fourth in the league shooting 90.6 percent on free throws in conference games.
