Video: Huskies hold on to big win at OSU

Thanks to Patrick Blair for the video highlights from Washington’s 75-72 win at Oregon State.
Here’s some links to get your day started.
Steve Kelley believes its time for Terrence Ross to step into the go-to role that once belonged to Brandon Roy, Bobby Jones, Jon Brockman, Quincy Pondexter, Matthew Bryan-Amaning and Isaiah Thomas.
— Here’s the game stories from the Kitsap Sun, Associated Press, News Tribune, the Oregonian, Gazette-Times and GoHuskies.com.
— Washington is No. 62 in ESPN’s new BPI ranking, a Basketball Power Index which is another way to rank teams based upon the outcomes of games, their location — home/road/neutral — and the quality of opponents. California is No. 21 followed by Arizona (31).
— Freshman guard Chasson Randle scored 16 points to lead Stanford to a 59-47 win over USC.
— USC stayed close for awhile and trailed 20-18 at the break before falling flat in the second half.
— UCLA sophomore Joshua Smith said “I’ve let my team down.” He also admitted he hasn’t taken care of his weight issues. “My whole career, I’ve never been in great shape,” the 6-10, 300-plus-pound center told the Los Angeles Times. “I can only imagine what would happen if I was.”
— Colorado’s freshmen guards Spencer Dinwiddie and Askia Booker have made an immediate contribution.
