Poll question: Who wins Pac-12 MVP award?

It’s been six years since Brandon Roy won the Pac-10 Player of the Year award and a Washington player has been among the finalists in each of the past three ballotting.
In 2009, Washington won its first outright regular-season title, but Jon Brockman finished behind Arizona State’s James Harden.
In 2010, Quincy Pondexter won a conference record five Pac-10 Player of the Week awards, but finished behind Cal’s Jerome Randle.
Last year, Derrick Williams surged late in the season to take the award from Isaiah Thomas.
There’s no criteria, precedent or guideline for the coaches to make their picks, which makes this year’s race wide open between several candidates, including Washington’s Tony Wroten Jr. and Terrence Ross.
It’s impossible for coach Lorenzo Romar to pick between them.
“That’s too hard for me to say,” he said. “Tony is second in the league in steals. Terrence is third in the league in rebounding. Tony is our leading scorer. On some nights Terrence Ross has been unstoppable scoring. It’s hard to say. I’m glad we have them. I know that.”
There’s only a week remaining in the regular season and one of the players listed below will win the POY award. The winner will be announced Monday.
Here’s a comparison of their statistics and conference rank in parenthesis.
Name …………………….. Team …….. Yr. ….. Pts. ……….. Reb. ……….. Ast.
Allen Crabbe …………… Cal ……….. So. …. 15.5 (5) ….. 5.7 (14) ….. 2.2 (27)
Jared Cunningham ….. OSU ………. Jr. ….. 18.4 (1) ….. 3.7 (37) ….. 2.5 (20)
Kyle Fogg ………………. Arizona ….. Sr. …. 13.2 (10) …. 3.8 (35) ….. 2.3 (25)
Jorge Gutierrez ……….. Cal ……….. Sr. …. 13.0 (11) ….. 5.6 (12) …. 4.1 (6)
Solomon Hill ……………. Arizona ….. Jr. …. 12.3 (18) ….. 7.9 (2) …… 2.7 (18)
Devoe Joseph …………. Oregon …. Sr. …. 16.3 (4) …… 3.5 (42) …. 2.7 (17)
Brock Motum …………… WSU ……… Jr. …. 17.8 (2) …… 6.6 (6) …… 1.8 (35)
Terrence Ross …………. Wash ……. So. …. 15.1 (6) ….. 6.7 (5) ……. 1.5 (43)
E.J. Singler ……………… Oregon …. Jr. ….. 13.4 (9) ….. 5.4 (17) ….. 2.2 (26)
Tony Wroten Jr. ……….. Wash …….. Fr. …. 16.7 (3) …. 4.9 (26) ….. 3.5 (9)
Cunningham, Fogg and Hill are the only multiple Player of the Week winners. Gutierrez, Crabbe and Joseph have not won the award this season. Since 2000, two Player of the Year honorees (Aaron Afflalo – 2007 and Sam Clancy – 2002) did not win a POW award.
So what do you think?

Who should win the Pac-12 MVP award?
