Pac-12 Buffaloed out of NCAA tourney

Down goes Colorado, the Pac-12’s last remaining team in the NCAA tournament.
The 11th-seed Buffaloes had the lead in the final 10 minutes, but they went cold offensively late in the game and fell 80-63 to No. 3 Baylor behind a three-point onslaught from Brady Heslip.
It was a dismal Big Dance showing for the Pac-12, which posted a 1-2 record.
California lost 65-54 to South Florida in the play-in game. Colorado managed to upset No. 6 UNLV 68-64 in the second round, but the magic ran out tonight.
Freshman Askia Booker had 15 points for the Buffs, but they had no answer for Heslip who sank nine three-pointers en route to 27 points. Colorado led 57-56, but it managed just two field goals the rest of the game and was outscored 24-6.
There’s still five Pac-12 teams alive in the postseason.
Washington, Oregon and Stanford are playing in the NIT while Washington State and Oregon State are in the CBI.
