Former Huskies making an impact in NBA

Traveling to New York so it’s going to be a slow day on the blog. Things should pick up Monday when the NIT semifinalists are available for a press conference.
Meanwhile thought I’d pass along some news and links about a pair of former Huskies. It’s been mentioned in the comments section, but not everyone reads every post so it’s worth repeating.
Justin Dentmon received a 10-day contract with the San Antonio Spurs. It’s his first trip with the NBA team
Dentmon, 6-0, 185-pound guard, played in 38 games with the Development League Toros. He averaged a team-high 22.9 points, 5.3 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.47 steals in 37.3 minutes while shooting .463 (285-616) from the field, 421 (88-209) from three-point range and .865 (212-245) from the foul line.
He was also a D-League All-Star.
Dentmon was undrafted in 2010 and spent the 2010-11 season with the Texas Legends.
Isaiah Thomas is making a push for the Rookie of the Year award. The Sacramento Kings are making their campaign push for the their guy.
Drafted 60th overall, he’s been the steal of the draft and moved into the Kings’ starting lineup on Feb. 17.
AROUND THE PAC-12:
Brock Motum (sprained ankle) is questionable for Monday’s CBI title game against Pittsburgh.
