Recapping UW and Pac-12 contest winners

Apologize for the delay, but finally got around to tallying the results in the March 27 Guess the UW game contest even though I was given a clue from a certain someone about the results.
Congrats to ProgressiveDawg who won in the season finale. It should come as no surprise PD picked the Huskies to lose 72-67 and Washington fell 68-67 in overtime to Minnesota in the NIT semifinals.
However, the big winner is justinholidaycanplay who captured the season title.
He’s the first three-time winner in the three-year history of the GUWS contest. He also squeaked out a narrow win over six contestants (spot on, lghusky, kobedawg, huskylenz, justosu and Fatkids55) tied for second.
Phenomenal job JHCP. For a grand prize, we’re offering more of the same. In addition to bragging rights for a year, next season you get two hot dogs and two soft drinks at a UW game of your choosing.
Also congrats to Cindy Dorey of Wenatchee, Wash. for winning the inaugural Pac-12 Pick & Roll contest. She collected a grand prize of $200. Imagine how many hot dogs you can buy with that. FYI: I finished six points off the lead.
Thanks to everyone for competing. Next season, we’ll do it bigger and better than ever.
