Decision Day for Nigel Williams-Goss

Washington hasn’t closed the books on the 2012 recruiting class, however, the Huskies could land its first member of the 2013 group.
Nigel Williams-Goss, a 6-3 point guard, is expected to announce his college choice today via a blog for the website National Recruiting Spotlight. You gotta love his ingenuity.
Williams-Goss is choosing between UW, Harvard, UCLA, Oklahoma and UNLV. He initially committed to the Runnin’ Rebels as a sophomore, which but re-opened his options when coach Lon Kruger left for Oklahoma.
Recruiting analysts believe UCLA is a long shot while Washington and Harvard are the favorites.
He told NRS he likes coach Lorenzo Romar and said “they have a track record of sending a lot of pros through the years and they’ve been recruiting me since my eighth grade year so that relationship that I’ve built with them over four years is pretty strong.”
Williams-Goss is considered a four-star prospect by ESPN, Rivals and Scout. He grew up in Happy Valley, Oregon and plays for powerhouse Findlay Prep in Henderson, Nevada.
Williams-Goss told Scout.com’s Jason Gershon he’s comfortable with his final choice and based his decision on his relationship with the coaching staff. He also believes he’ll be able to make a significant impact as a freshman.
