Transcipt of live NBA draft chat

With former Washington star Terrence Ross sitting in the green room, former UW standout Tony Wroten Jr. projected as a first-round pick and coach Lorenzo Romar on hand in the New Jersey, the Huskies have today’s NBA covered.
And so do we.
Let’s get together at 4 p.m. and engage what is sure to be a lively discussion as the draft unfolds. This could be the first time in Washington history two Huskies will be taken in the first round. But nothing is certain when it comes to the draft and a few believe Wroten, the Pac-12 freshman of the year, could slip into the second round.
In an interview with Jerry Brewer, Wroten’s father said the family is prepared for any outcome.
“Whatever happens, we’ll be fine,” Big Tony said. “It doesn’t matter if he gets drafted No. 5 or 55. I always tell him, ‘Do what you can control. Work hard. Bust your ass.’ That’s how you make it.”
Meanwhile, Ross’ stock appears to be rising. A few draft observers believe he could be taken as high as No. 7 while others see him falling into the 20s.
In addition to the draft, we can chat about Washington’s newest addition, Gilles Dierickx, the 7-foot Belgian who is transferring from Florida International.
So there’s plenty to talk about. See you then.
