NSCC Summer League resumes Monday

The North Seattle Summer League reaches the midpoint. After today, just three regular-season games remain followed by one playoff game.
Many Washington players are still out of town, but they’re expected to return this week for the start of summer school. Next Monday should feature a full slate of UW players.
Still a handful of Huskies have played the prior three weeks, including former UW star Isaiah Thomas who made his summer debut last Monday.
Here’s a breakdown of UW players on the other teams:
Boston – Abdul Gaddy and Martin Breuing
Lakers – Andrew Andrews and Shawn Kemp Jr.
Knicks – Jernard Jarreau, Mark McLaughlin and Thomas
Suns – Hikeem Stewart and Desmond Simmons
76ers – Scott Suggs and C.J. Wilcox
TONIGHT’S SCHEDULE
6 p.m. – Chicago vs. Blazers
7 p.m. – Suns vs. Knicks
8 p.m. – Boston vs. Miami
9 p.m. – Lakers vs. 76ers
MONDAY AFTERNOON LINKS:
Nigel Williams-Goss, who committed to Washington for 2013, was named to the U.S. all-tournament team at the Nike Global Challenge. He scored 18 points to lead USA West to a third-place finish in the tourney. In four games, Williams-Goss averaged 32 minutes, 17.2 points and 3.5 assists.
Marcus Lee, a 2013 prospect considering UW, also played at the Nike Global Challenge for USA West. He averaged 12.5 points, 8.8 rebounds and 3.0 blocks.
Nice synopsis on 2013 recruit Isaac Hamilton, who is considering the Huskies. The 6-4 sharp shooter played at the 2012 Adidas Invitational over the weekend.
— Former UW star Terrence Ross plays 3 p.m. Monday for Toronto in the NBA Summer League. Tony Wroten Jr. plays 3 p.m. Tuesday.
— Obviously it’s a little old, but thanks to poster Skeptical Dawg for the creating a video of Ross at the NBA draft.
— Husky Hall of Famer Eldridge Recasner is hosting a three-day summer clinic for kids that begins Tuesday. It’s the first of five camps/clinics this summer.
