UW starts foreign trip with narrow win

Washington began its exhibition tour with a 68-65 victory over Tarragona in Spain.
The Huskies started Abdul Gaddy, Scott Suggs and C.J. Wilcox at guard, forward Desmond Simmons and center Aziz N’Diaye.
Washington trailed 40-32 at halftime, but took control of the game in the third quarter. (Yes that’s third quarter. Per international rules the games are four 10-minute quarters. Not sure if there’s any other rules the Huskies needed to adjust to that’s not in the NCAA.)
You can follow updates from the game on the UW men’s basketball twitter feed.
Here’s a couple of photo galleries from Day 1 and Day 2 from the Huskies.
Also, Gaddy is writing a journal about the trip.
