Tuesday links: Arizona homes in on Gordon

Here’s a few links to get your day started.
— Arizona coach Sean Miller will visit Aaron Gordon on Sept. 10 and the five-star recruit will take a trip to see the Wildcats Oct. 21, according to the Arizona Daily Star who spoke with Gordon’s high school coach..
Gordon was scheduled to make an unofficial visit to California Sept. 1. It appears as if he’ll make official visits to Colorado (Sept. 8), Washington (Sept. 29) and Arizona (Oct. 21). Reportedly he’s also interested in Oregon, Kentucky and Kansas. New Mexico and Stanford have also been mentioned as possible destinations. Recruits are allowed five official visits.
Isaac Hamilton, another 2012 UW target, will visit Florida on Oct. 6.
— Washington players participated in a mini-version of the ‘Amazing Race’ this morning in Paris before their game against Rueil AC. Tipoff is 8 p.m. Paris time, 11 a.m. PT.

— It’s been a rumor for several days, but still no official word from Arizona State, which will reportedly hire two assistants with NBA ties. ASU is expected to add former NBA head coach Eric Musselman and Larry Greer, who was an assistant for the Portland Trail Blazers last season.
— Colorado coach Tad Boyle is okay with the various start times this season because the offshoot is the Buffaloes will make 27 appearances on either the Pac-12 Networks, ESPN’s channels or Fox Sports.
Frank Burlison at SI.com takes a look at the Pac-12. Coaches have told him UCLA incoming freshman Shabazz Muhammad will be docked games for recruiting violations, but no one knows how long he’ll have to sit. If he returns before the start of Pac-12 play, Burlison likes UCLA, Arizona and Stanford in that order.
Seth Davis at SI.com offers a few thoughts on the Pac-12 Networks.
— Bleacher Report comprised a list of the worst college basketball floors and it should come as no surprise Oregon was included.
