KeyArena to host NCAA tourney games 2015

After a long drought, the NCAA men’s basketball tournament will return to Seattle in 2015.
The NCAA plans to play second and third rounds of the tourney at KeyArena on March 20-22, 2015, which is the first time the venue will host preliminary-round games since 2004.
Spokane’s Veterans Memorial Coliseum will host a second and third-round games March 20-22, 2014. It’s fourth time since 2003 the city has been a host.
Seattle had been a major stop in the NCAA Final Four cycle, hosting the event in 1984, 1989 and 1995. When the city demolished the Kingdome, Seattle lost its capacity to host a Final Four because the NCAA prefers to hold the event inside large venues.
