C.J. Wilcox finished with a career-high 28 points, but no other Washington player scored in double figures in the 73-55 loss to Colorado State.
Wilcox injured his tailbone late in the game after falling hard.
He said the game was decided on the glass noting UW was outrebounded 45-21.
“I think the whole team’s mentality needs to change,” Wilcox said. “We have to be tougher.
Still he’s not sure how that’s going to happen.
“That’s a good question,” he said. “I’ve never been part of a team here that’s not been tough. We’ve just got to find it within ourselves to be tougher.”
