Despite defeats, UW rises in RPI rankings

As expected the Associated Press voters punished UCLA for losing Sunday to Cal Poly and knocked the Bruins (4-2) out of the top 25.
Meanwhile Arizona inched up a notch to No. 9 and Colorado improved to No. 19.
The USA Today/coaches poll still has three Pac-12 teams: Arizona (9), Colorado (19) and UCLA (24).
The Buffaloes are No. 2 in the RPI ratings behind Duke.
Despite a 2-3 record that includes two home defeats, Washington still holds a very respectable RPI number. The Huskies are No. 18. It’s strange, but it’s true.
Here’s where the other Pac-12 teams rank: Oregon (19), California (23), Oregon State (61), Stanford (66), Arizona State (103), USC (126), UCLA (135), Arizona (139), Utah (147) and Washington State (203).
