Pac-12 Player of the Week: Justin Cobbs

California junior Justin Cobbs won the Pac-12 Player of the Week award winning MVP honors at the DirecTV Classic and leading the Golden Bears to three wins and a tournament title.
The 6-2 guard averaged 19.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.0 steals while shooting 25 of 29 (.862) from the free-throw line in the tourney.
In the tournament title game, a 78-58 win over Pacific, Cobb tallied 20 points, seven rebounds and five assists. (Does anyone else think it’s funny a Pac-12 team won the DirecTV tournament?)
Washington’s C.J. Wicox was nominated this week.
Others include: Arizona’s Brandon Ashley; Arizona State’s Jahii Carson; Colorado’s Andre Roberson; Oregon’s Damyean Dotson; Oregon State’s Joe Burton and Stanford’s Chasson Randle.
