Live chat with Pac-12 Commish Larry Scott
Larry Scott was hired as the sixth commissioner of the Pac-10 Conference in July of 2009, and in his first two years on the job led the conference through expansion for the first time since 1978 by successfully adding Colorado and Utah and creating a football championship game for the first time in conference history.
His other big initiatives as commissioner have included: securing equal revenue sharing for the first time ever, delivering a landmark media rights agreement with ESPN and Fox that has dramatically increased revenue and national exposure for school and creating the Pac-12 Network and Pac-12 Digital Network that has significantly enhanced exposure for all sports throughout the conference.
Prior to entering collegiate athletics as an administrator, he served six years as chairman and chief executive officer of the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour (Women’s Tennis Association).
Scott will be available to answer questions about a variety of Pac-12 Conference topics in a live chat at noon Thursday.
