Four Pac-12 teams on AP ballot; Zags third
Here’s the top 25 ballot I emailed to the Associated Press this morning.
1. Indiana (25-4)
2. Duke (25-4)
3. Gonzaga (29-2)
4. Georgetown (23-4)
5. Kansas (25-4)
6. Louisville (24-5)
7. Michigan (24-5)
8. Miami (23-5)
9. Kansas State (24-5)
10. New Mexico (25-4)
11. Florida (23-5)
12. Oklahoma State (22-6)
13. Michigan State (22-6)
14. Syracuse (22-7)
15. Ohio State (21-7)
16. Arizona (23-6)
17. Saint Louis (23-5)
18. Marquette (21-7)
19. Pittsburgh (23-7)
20. California (20-9)
21. Memphis (25-4)
22. UCLA (22-7)
23. Oregon (23-6)
24. VCU (23-6)
25. Louisiana Tech (26-3)
NOTE — California, UCLA, Oregon and VCU were added to the ballot this week while Wisconsin, Butler, Notre Dame and Akron dropped out. Gave strong consideration about giving Gonzaga a No. 1 vote and it wouldn’t be surprising if the Bulldogs are ranked at the top of the polls this week. The next five left off my ballot were Wisconsin, UNLV, Notre Dame, Middle Tennessee and Akron.
