Here’s post game quotes from the Washington Huskies following their 64-62 win over Washington State.

C.J. WILCOX

(On the close ending) “We just mentally fell apart at the end and they started making shots. Our heads started dropping, but luckily we made some plays at the end to secure the win.”

(On how he felt about the game overall) “We started aggressively. We do that against these guys, but they alwasy come back. Their power came from (Brock) Motum and he was hitting shots. They were all playing well, but luckily we were able to finish.”

(On tomorrow’s key to win against Oregon) “Getting back in transition. We know they like to run. Stopping their offense and stopping a couple key plays.”

(On Romar’s message to the team after the game) “We have to get mentally stronger in these games, but way to get it done.”
