Martin Breunig leaving, Lorenzo Romar staying

The two big developments from today’s press conference:

— Coach Lorenzo Romar said he’s happy at Washington and doesn’t have any interest in the UCLA job. He hasn’t been contacted about the vacancy. Romar said: “If Washington wants me, I’m here at Washington.”

— Sophomore forward Martin Breunig is transferring. Romar cited a lack of playing time for Breunig’s decision to leave. He appeared in just nine games this season.

Romar said he’s spoken to junior guard C.J. Wilcox, who is contemplating leaving school and declaring for the NBA draft. Wilcox has submitted paperwork and is awaiting an evaluation from the NBA advisory board. Romar said Wilcox will base his decision on the findings.

More later.
