Video: Lorenzo Romar after UW’s 89-78 loss to Boston College

Here’s video (above) of coach Lorenzo Romar following Washington’s 89-78 defeat to Boston College in the 2K Sports Classic consolation game.

“I think our lack of size has hurt us on the boards,” he said. “We don’t really have a rim protector. A few years ago, we put a really small team on the floor and we were a Sweet 16 team. But that team was a group of veterans. On that team there weren’t many defensive mistakes.. We were able to apply pressure and there weren’t many breakdowns.

“Right now we are having too many breakdowns. We try to teach everyone floor positions regardless of where you are on the floor. I am anxious to get back to practice, look at the film and see where the errors are being made and improve on that.”
