Morning links: Washington returns home after Manhattan meltdowns

Big night for C.J. Wilcox who scored a career-high 30 points in Washington’s 89-78 loss to Boston College in 2K Sports Classic consolation game.

SATURDAY MORNING LINKS:

— Montana, UWs next opponent campus, lost 75-74 at San Francisco. The Grizzlies are 1-2.

— Big blow for USC which loses senior guard J.T. Terrell who was declared academically ineligible. He led the Trojans with a 13.4 scoring average last season. He’ll miss at least six games, but he could become eligible again after Dec. 15, which means he could return for a game against Long Beach State on Dec. 19.

— Amazing night for sophomore guards Kyle Anderson and Jordan Adams who No. 22 UCLA to an 81-70 win over Morehead State. Anderson finished with his first college triple double (13 points, 12 rebounds 11 assists) and the third one in the history of the program. Meanwhile Adams poured in a career best 3o points. The Bruins improved to 4-0.

— Arizona State improved to 5-0 for the first time since the 1985-86 after a 70-58 win over Bradley. Jahii Carson had 19 points. seven rebounds and five assists. Jordan Bachynski finished with a double double (15 points and 10 rebounds for the Sun Devils.

Jordan Loveridge had 14 points and seven rebounds in Utah’s 84-57 win over Lamar. The Utes are 4-0.

— No one in the Pac-12 is going to feel any sympathy for Arizona coach Sean Miller who said recruiting is harder than it’s ever been.
