Arizona State knocked off No. 25 Marquette 79-77 last night to give the Pac-12 its first win over a ranked team this season. The conference is 1-2.
Sophomore point guard Jahii Carson led the way with 23 points and five assists, Jermaine Marshall added 21 points and 7-2 center Jordan Bachnyski (14 points and 11 rebounds) came up with the play of the game. The Sun Devils all-time blocks leader swatted Derrick Wilson’s runner at the buzzer for his seventh block, helping ASU to a 6-0 start.
