Pac-12′s impressive win streak reaches 18

Washington’s 70-63 defeat at then-No. 24 San Diego State on Dec. 8 was the last time a Pac-12 team lost a game. Since then, conference teams have been perfect.

The Pac-12 is riding an 18-game winning streak into tonight’s action, which includes two games. Washington is at Tulane and No. 13 Oregon hosts UC Irvine.

Pac-12 teams have won 28 of the last 31 games against non-conference competition. The Pac-12 has posted a 94-23 (.803) record this season.

However, Pac-12 teams are 3-5 against ranked opponents.

TUESDAY MORNING LINKS:

— Arizona’s McKale Center will undergo a $30 million renovation that will the McKale Center that will include new seating, upgraded lighting and a new floor in time for next season. The improvements also include a new video board.

Kyle Anderson returns home when UCLA plays No. 8 Duke on Thursday at Madison Square Garden.

— Part of the reason why Utah is 9-1 is because Brandon Taylor didn’t go in the tank when Delon Wright took over at point guard and moved the 5-8 sophomore to shooting guard.

— Utah’s Jordan Loveridge won the Pac-12 player of the week award and was named the national player of the week by CBSSports.com.

— It’s been an up-and-down season for Colorado freshman Dustin Thomas.

— Here’s a top 20 ranking the best teams in the west. Spoiler alert: Washington didn’t make the cut.
