Morning links: UW avoids embarrassing loss to Hartford

No better way to cap the year than with a win. Washington closed the 2013 portion of the season with a 73-67 nonconference victory over Hartford and will ring in the 2014 portion of the season Thursday at Arizona State in the Pac-12 opener.

Here’s a photo gallery of Sunday night’s action at Alaska Airlines Arena from Times photographer Lindsey Wasson.

Here’s the video highlights and post-game comments from the Pac-12 Networks’ Kevin Calabro and Dan Dickau.

And here’s the game stories in the Associated Press, the UW Daily and GoHuskies.com.
