It’s been 10 years since Washington beat a No. 1-ranked team.

On March 6, 2004, the Huskies spoiled Stanford’s bid at a perfect regular-season record and handed the Cardinal a 75-62 defeat at Edmundson Pavilion. Here’s a fan-made video, which chronicles that day including a crazy post-game celebration.

Washington is 1-1 against top-ranked teams under coach Lorenzo Romar, including a 96-74 loss to UCLA on Dec. 31, 2006.

The Huskies (9-5, 1-0) get another crack at an undefeated No.1-ranked team tomorrow when they face Arizona (14-0, 1-0), which destroyed Washington State 60-25 in Thursday’s conference opener.
