Oregon’s Mike Moser could have won the Pac-12 Player of the Week award last week after a couple of standout performances against Washington and Washington State.
The Ducks senior forward had another brilliant week in Los Angeles and on Monday he was awarded the weekly honor by the conference.
Moser averaged 16.0 points, 16.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists to lead Oregon to a road sweep in LA.
In an 87-83 double-overtime victory over UCLA, Moser recorded 20 rebounds, the most by an Oregon player in 37 years since Greg Ballard reached 20 boards in a five-overtime game in 1977. Moser also had 12 points, five assists, a block and a steal against the Bruins, shooting 4-of-15 from the field and 3-of-4 from the charity stripe.
During a 78-63 win at USC, Moser tied the game high with 20 points, going 9-of-15 in field goals and 2-of-5 from beyond the three-point line. He added 12 rebounds, four assists, a block and a steal.
Washington nominated freshman guard Nigel Williams-Goss who scored 17 points and collected a career-high 12 rebounds during a 72-49 win over Washington State.
Other players nominated include: Arizona’s Aaron Gordon, Arizona State’s Jermaine Marshall, Stanford’s Josh Huestis, and UCLA’s Bryce Alford.
