Tony Wroten stars in Seattle Basketball Pro Am summer debut

Pretty amazing highlights of Tony Worten Jr. from last weekend at the Seattle Basketball Pro-Am thanks to Ballislife.com.

In the first game of the season, the former Washington star scored 53 points during a 124-121 win at Seattle Pacific’s Brougham Pavilion. Wroten played on a team with UW commit Dejounte Murray.

In other summer hoops news, the Northwest Collegiate Summer League begins Week 3 action tonight at North Seattle Community College. Admission is free. The NCAA-sanctioned tournament consists of college and high school players from northwest schools.

Here’s a look at this week’s schedule.

6 p.m. – Lakers vs. 76ers
7 p.m. – Chicago vs. Boston
8 p.m. – Knicks vs. Blazers
9 p.m. – Suns vs. New Jersey

Wednesday
6 p.m. – Miami vs. Oklahoma

— Former Washington star C.J. Wilcox has a right shoulder injury and will not play in the summer league with the Los Angeles Clippers. He’s not expected to undergo surgery.

— California sophomore center Kameron Rooks is likely out for all of next season after having surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.
