More praise for Washington’s 2015 recruiting class

The latest evaluation by Scout.com ranks Washington’s 2015 recruiting class fifth in the nation.

Evan Daniels at Scout.com writes: “Lorenzo Romar is off to a quick start with two top 50 recruits and another four-star prospect. (Dejounte Murray), a perimeter player, & (Marquese Chriss), a power forward, are both long versatile athletes. (David Crisp) is a high-level shooter.”

This latest ranking comes after 24/7 Sports listed Washington’s 2015 class seventh.

— This is a big recruiting weekend for Oregon State, which hosts two four-star recruits and a three-star prospect.

— Former Kentwood High standout Joshua Smith is giving basketball one more chance.

— Lawyers for Ed O’Bannon are about to get paid and they want the NCAA to foot the bill.
