Rainier Beach standout Dejounte Murray signed a national letter of intent to play basketball at Washington.

He’ll join a touted 2015 class that includes small forward Matisse Thybulle from Eastside Catholic High outside Seattle; Marquese Chriss, a 6-8 forward out of Pleasant Grove High in California; guard David Crisp from Brewster Academy in New Hampshire and a former teammate of Murray’s at Rainier Beach; Devenir Duruisseau, a 6-9 power forward and junior college transfer Malik Dime.

Murray is a four-star 6-5, 175 lb., shooting guard out of right here in Seattle who is rated 37th by Scout, 47th by ESPN and 15th for his position nationally. He is also the top-ranked recruit in the state of Washington at any position and is rated seventh in the region. The incoming freshman from Rainier Beach High School averaged 18 points, 11.5 rebounds and eight assists last season.
