Pac-12 Player of the Week: Stanford’s Anthony Brown

Stanford’s Anthony Brown won the Pac-12 Player of the Week award.

The senior guard scored a season-high 25 points in the Cardinal’s 74-71 overtime upset victory of then-No. 9 Texas last Tuesday. He went 9-for-17 from the field, including a perfect 4-for-4 mark from three-point range.

Brown was also 3 for 3 from the free-throw line, adding four rebounds, two steals and a block in his career-high 41 minutes. With 1:08 left, he drove inside for the go-ahead basket.

Washington nominated Robert Upshaw, who had consecutive double-double performances last week.

Others nominated include: Arizona State’s Savon Goodman, California’s Tyrone Wallace, Oregon’s Joseph Young and Washington State’s DaVonté Lacy.
