It doesn’t get any better than No. 8 Utah going into the McKale Center and putting its unbeaten Pac-12 record on the line against No. 10 Arizona.

The Utes and Wildcats have been far and away the best teams in the conference.

Today’s game will likely play a role in determining who wins the Pac-12 regular-season title. The outcome figures to have NCAA tournament seeding implications as well.

Utah (14-2, 4-0) has simply clobbered Pac-12 opponents. The Utes winning margin is 24.5 points. They demolished Southern California by 24 points, UCLA by 32, Colorado by 25 and Arizona State by 17.

Meanwhile, Arizona (15-2, 3-1) proved vulnerable after a loss last week at Oregon State. However, the Wildcats are virtually unbeatable at McKale Center where they have a 31-game winning streak. Arizona has also won 10 straight against Utah.

The teams meet again Feb. 28 in Utah.

And they’ll probably collide March 14 in the Pac-12 Tournament title game in Las Vegas.
