Spent a few minutes with Donaven Dorsey who is probably Washington’s best three-point shooter.

Funny thing, the freshman reserve forward was never really a perimeter-oriented guy at Timberline High in Lacy. He did a little bit of everything in high school, but with the Huskies he’s been able to carve out a niche as an outside threat.

WEDNESDAY MORNING LINKS:

Bud Withers writes Pac-12 road teams have extreme difficulties winning on Sundays, which is bad news for the Huskies. Washington plays No. 12 Utah on Sunday at Hunstmen Center.

Nice Q&A between coach Lorenzo Romar and Jon Gold at the Arizona Daily Star.

— It’s still unclear if Josh Scott will play for Colorado when the Buffaloes host the Huskies on Thursday.

— Plenty of good tidbits in this Pac-12 roundup.

— Washington ranks sixth in this Pac-12 power ranking.

— Utah coach Larry Krystkowiak and a handful of Utah players reunite with Washington State’s DaVonte Lacy tonight. They participated with a Pac-12 all-star team that played exhibition games in China during the summer.

— It’s going to be difficult for the Cougars to win in Salt Lake City.

— Utah is scoring plenty of points in recruiting as well.

— Oregon’s Joseph Young is poised to join an exclusive Ducks fraternity.

TODAY’S PAC-12 SCHEDULE:
