Seems strange to include Washington in NCAA tournament conversations when the Huskies are in 11th place in the Pac-12.

However, the Huskies (14-8, 3-7) are still clinging to postseason hopes despite a 3-8 record in the past 11 games.

Here’s a look at the conference front runners to nab a postseason spot.

SATURDAY MORNING LINKS:

— Arizona coach Herb Sendek has history with Arizona point guard T.J. McConnell.

— Few would think of Wells Fargo Arena as an intimidating venue, but ASU fans have gotten creative with the antics that have negatively impacted the free-throw shooting percentage of visiting teams.

— No. 13 Utah opens the second round of Pac-12 play with what could be a test at rival Colorado.

— The Buffaloes may welcome back Josh Scott. The 6-10 junior center, who is averaging 13.8 points and 7.2 rebounds per game, has missed eight of the Buffs’ last nine games with a back injury. Colorado is 4-5, including a loss against Utah that he played, since Scott injured his back.

— And finally, the Pac-12 will stream 27 games in China this season. The deal between the Pac-12 Networks and LeTV is the conference’s latest foray into China. Last offseason, a team of Pac-12 all-stars played exhibition games in China. In November, Washington and Texas will become the first major U.S. sports teams — college or professional — to play a regular-season game in China.

TODAY’S PAC-12 SCHEDULE:

Game Time TV
No. 6 Arizona (20-2, 8-1) at Arizona State (11-11, 3-6) 1:30 p.m. Fox
UCLA (14-9, 6-4) at California (14-9, 4-6) 5 p.m. Pac-12 Networks
No. 13 Utah (17-4, 7-2) at Colorado (11-10, 4-5) 7 p.m. Pac-12 Networks
