For the second straight game, Washington will face the reigning Pac-12 player of the week award winner.

On Sunday, it was Colorado’s Askia Booker.

And Wednesday it will be California’s Justin Cobbs, who won the award Monday.

The Golden Bears senior guard averaged a double double (20 points and 10 assists) in a pair of road victories last week that helped give Cal its first 3-0 start in the Pac-12 since 2009. The Bears went 3-0 in conference road games for the first time since 1957.

Colorado may have the best backcourt in the Pac-12 if not the country. Spencer Dinwiddie gets national acclaim and is projected as a first-round pick in this summer’s NBA draft while Askia Booker continues to show up big in big games and collect awards.

On Monday, Booker picked up the Pac-12 Player of the Week award following Sunday’s career-high 27-point performance, which led Colorado to a 100-91 victory at Coors Events Center at then-No. 10 Oregon.
