Washington secures touted recruiting class

On the first day of the early signing period, Washington secured it’s second largest and one of its highest-ranked signing class in the Lorenzo Romar era. Early signs suggest UW scored big recruiting points this weekend

Washington’s 2015 recruiting class gets high marks

Washington has assembled one of the best 2015 recruiting classes in the country, according to 24/7 Sports. The Huskies are ranked seventh behind No. 1 Arizona, Louisville, Duke, Ohio State and Syracuse. lists the UW’s three recruits among its top 100. David Crisp commits to Washington

Washington began the afternoon with a convincing 71-54 win over No. 15 Colorado that’s going to improve their RPI and garner attention nationally from college-basketball observers.

And the Huskies capped a banner day with a verbal commitment from Rainier Beach High senior David Crisp.

The 6-1 point guard also had offers from Boise State and Nebraska. He’s considered a three-star prospect by ESPN gave him two stars and he’s not ranked by Rivals.

The regular signing period begins April 16 and ends May 21. Reportedly Crisp will attend a prep school next season and enroll at UW in 2015.
