Sexson gets a hit!

I wasn’t planning on blogging again this quickly, but something momentous just happened: Richie Sexson got a base hit.
Yes, after starting the spring hitless in 18 at-bats, he just lined a sharp single to right field in the first inning off Oakland starter Joe Kennedy, who immediately was given his unconditional release. Just kidding. The M’s are up 2-0, and all is well with the world. For now.
