Felix looks fine: day is done

Seems that momentary mound panic was a fleeting one, since Hernandez retired the final six hitters he faced without giving up any more runs. Whatever was bothering him in that third and fourth inning was rectified. Now, we’ll just wait and see whether manager Mike Hargrove annoints him the No. 1 job today, or waits until Monday. Any further delay would likely be so Hargrove can sort out his No. 3 and No. 4 starters.
Hernandez’s final line: 6 IP, 4 ER, 7 H, 0 BB, 4 K
