Something to chew on

Good morning, all! Great to see so many female fans participating in this blog now. It seemed for a while like there was only one or two, but now we’ve got a bunch. I wonder how “Anna” is doing in Serbia? She might have to get back here earlier than expected if the Mariners keep this up. So, here’s the deal. I have to scramble to check out of my hotel in a bit, then head off to Oakland, catch my flight home later. Here’s something to chew on until a little before gametime. Buster Olney of ESPN interviews Mark Buehrle’s agent and concludes the Buehrle-White Sox talks have collapsed.
The Chicago Sun-Times says the same thing. This Tribune writer thinks the White Sox are taking a huge risk if they let Buehrle leave.
Ah, taking risks. What winning baseball is often all about.
So, enjoy, discuss. I’ll be back later with a bigger post but I have to scramble. It’s a getaway day.
