Yep, folks, it’s the exact same lineup as yesterday. I think McLaren is going to regret his fierce (blind?) loyalty to Sexson at some point. Like about two weeks ago. We haven’t talked to the skipper yet for his pearls of wisdom. I’ll get back to you when I do.
OK, people, we have to talk. Yesterday was a crazy day for me (as today is, I’m afraid). I had to devote pretty much every waking hour to getting my Sunday page done (and I’m not there yet; this is going down to the wire). That, and covering the game for the paper, of course. The upshot is, I didn’t have a chance to monitor the blog yesterday, and I doubt if I will much tonight.
I gather it started to get unruly and personal, and that can’t be tolerated. Geoff comes back in two days, and I know he’ll crack the whip and weed out the troublemakers. Again, I don’t have the time, or, frankly, the technological know-how, to do that.
I’m the substitute teacher here. I beg of you, don’t take advantage of the situation while the teacher is away. We might have to send you to the principal’s office. I have full confidence that today will go better. Please. No name-calling, no trolling. Just discuss the Mariners. You can be passionate and critical. Just be civil, too.
Thanks.
