Mariners vs. Angels, series finale

An early start today. Sorry I haven’t responded as much as usual to your posts. I’ve been very crunched for time these past few days because we’re working on a series of features for the end of the season. Only so many hours in a day. Am going to be racing off to the airport right after this one as well, so don’t take it personally if the posts are a little shorter today.
Yuniesky Betancourt gets the day off. He felt something in his shoulder while making a throw during yesterday’s game and the team, while saying it’s nothing serious, is taking no chances. Listed as “day to day” for now.
I don’t really expect John Lackey to be throwing at anyone today. There’s too much on the line with his team trying to clinch and the playoffs just around the corner for his squad. Lackey likes to run his mouth, but he isn’t that dumb. At least, I don’t think he is.
The folks over at Lookout Landing have been running a fun “Dispelling Myths” segment that I’ve found very interesting. Hope you like it.
