See you in December

Many of you have been writing in to ask when this blog will be starting back up again. The plan, as of right now, is to bring it back for the baseball winter meetings in Nashville, Tenn. the first week of December. After that, it will be on hiatus until spring training.
I appreciate that so many of you are anxious to keep the discussion going all winter. Unfortunately, producing a blog of this magnitude requires many additional hours that just won’t be available in the off-season. Too many time gaps to maintain the needed continuity.
Rather than have a product that comes out in fits and starts, we’d rather regroup and come back strong in 2008, with a cohesive plan to make this site more fun than ever for fans next season. Until then, I hope you are enjoying the baseball post-season. I know I am, even though my Angels prediction went out the window. It will be interesting to see what GM Bill Bavasi does this off-season. I can’t wait for the winter meetings! Until then, keep your batteries charged and we’ll see you all back in this space in roughly six or seven weeks.
