M’s close in on Strasburg

Tonight’s fifth consecutive loss by the Mariners, 3-0 to the Kansas City Royals, helps them gain a game in the all-important race for the No. 1 overall draft pick (i.e. Steven Strasburg of San Diego State). Oh yeah, Carlos Silva pitched a pretty good game. Still gets the loss.
