Rickey, Rice make Hall of Fame

Just got an e-mail from the BBWAA — Rickey Henderson made the Hall of Fame easily, as expected, wtih 94.8 percent of the vote. The mystery is how 28 people somehow found a reason not to vote for him. And Jim Rice, in his 15th and final year on the ballot, squeaked in at 76.4 percent (75 percent needed for election). Here’s the scoop:
