No other way to describe this one. The crowd here is leaving the building shaking its head in disbelief after the Mariners shocked the Angels 4-3 in 10 innings.
Seattle waited until the final out to do anything offensively, with Jose Lopez smacking a three-run homer off Brian Fuentes to tie it. Wladimir Balentien then doubled to lead off the 10th and scored on a sacrifice fly by Yuniesky Betancourt, barely beating the throw from left fielder Gary Matthews Jr.
David Aardsma, with help from a fourth double-play turned tonight by his team, closed out the 10th.
What does this mean? A series win by the Mariners. Only they know the answer to the rest.
