Talkin’ Baseball on KJR AM 950 coming up at about 8:30 a.m.

We’ll once again have plenty to talk about as I go on KJR AM 950’s Mitch in the Morning show today at about 8:30 a.m.
I thought Erik Bedard threw the ball well after the first inning. Could not understand what he was doing between pitches in that first. Took more time between pitches than Miguel Batista. His pacing was off. Told the media afterwards that he was just “trying to throw strikes”. Had he done more of that in the first inning, he would not have burned a third of his pitch quota so early.
But eight strikeouts over four innings? That’s ace-like stuff. The real shame of the Bedard trade, when all is said and done, is that M’s fans will have gotten to see him pitch for fewer than a full season.
Oh yeah. This team needs to add another bat — pronto.
