Lineups, Mariners vs. Indians, July 17

I thought Chris Shelton might get a start, considering the Indians are pitching a lefty (David Huff) and Russ Branyan had back issues yesterday. But no Shelton — Branyan is at first, and Ken Griffey Jr. is back at DH.
Here’s an explanation: lefties are hitting .395 (34-for-86) against and slugging .640 against Huff this year. Jack Hannahan, who hits left handed and is starting at third, actually has a higher career average against lefties (.239) than righties (.217).
The Indians start three ex-Mariners and a kid from Everett.
