Seattle Mariners at Los Angeles Angels: 09/10 game thread

Not much in the way of updating to do so far. We’re already headed for the seventh inning stretch, with the Mariners down 2-0. Ryan Rowland-Smith has made only one mistake. a pitch that got destroyed by Torii Hunter over the center field wall back in the fourth-inning for a two-run homer.
The Mariners have been held to just five hits by John Lackey. Ichiro is 0-for-3 with two strikeouts and a groundout. Is he feeling the pressure? I’m sure he is. This 200-hits thing means more to him than just about anything else he does every year.

7:03 p.m.: Seattle tries to salvage the finale of this three-game series. It won’t be easy, with John Lackey on the mound. Ichiro has a shot at his 200th hit tonight, but once again with Lackey on the mound, getting four of them won’t be easy.
