Mariners 5, Rangers 0: Ichiro sets record, Felix Hernandez wins career high 15th

We’ve been all over the Ichiro record thing, but Felix Hernandez was instrumental in tonight’s 5-0 win by the Mariners in Game 2 of the doubleheader, Hernandez tossed seven shutout innings of four-hit ball, lowering his ERA from 2.61 to 2.52. He’s getting closer to Zack Greinke in that Cy Young Award race.
A career high 15th win by Hernandez tonight. That’s something at age 23.
Got to go do some interviews.
