Daily coverage of the Mariners during the season and all year long.

Steppin’ in for Mr. Baker, and the lineups for tonight

It’s your favorite soccer reporter — well, maybe — Jose Romero coming to you from Safeco Field, where at this moment Felix Hernandez and Carlos Silva are tossing a frisbee. It’s a Venezuelan reunion down on the field with Silva, Felix and Freddy Garcia from the ChiSox and Jose Lopez from the M’s.
Hey the last time I filled in, didn’t I cover a White Sox-Mariners game? That always seems to happen to me. Repeat games. No big deal, love being out here, love the game.
UPDATE: 3:58 p.m. Roof is being closed as it has started raining.
Lineup time:

Jose Lopez 2B
