Game thread, Mariners vs. Blue Jays, Sept. 24

Felix Hernandez takes one more crack at improving his Cy Young credentials, even though he’s probably fighting a losing battle against Zack Greinke. Hernandez will have two more scheduled starts after this one.
Against the lefty Romero, the Mariners move Jose Lopez to first and play Matt Tuiasosopo at second. Michael Saunders goes to the bench despite yesterday’s encouragaing three-hit effort.
Is there a worse contract in baseball than Vernon Wells’s seven years, $126 million? Just five years to go.
